My sister and I have attended Jo's Mums Shape Up class for a few months and we can't recommend it highly enough! Jo is knowledgeable, enthusiastic and pushes you hard, but still makes the class hugely enjoyable. I've personally never been fitter or enjoyed exercising so much in my life. Jo is a brilliant trainer who thinks about each client individually and tailors her programme to suit. I started having PT sessions with Jo after having my daughter and on the run up to my wedding. How can I sum up Jo...simply fabulous! First met Jo at Fit Fans In Training at Ibrox and we hit it off from the offset down to her approachable and warm personality. While training with Jo I lost over 3 stone as she provided advice on nutrition and gave me the right mix of support and challenge. Her vast knowledge of her field tangible. Her ability to keep me motivated through my difficult days is testament to passion she has invested in her clients physical and mental wellbeing. I enjoyed training so much with Jo that I attended her boxing and circuit sessions. Training had become fun and that takes a rare skill! Jo also came along to my school to provide boxing session for pupils at which I saw pupils who were reluctant to take part in physical activity actively engaged and for weeks after asking when she was coming back. I can't speak highly enough of Jo's passion and dedication and would not hesitate in recommending her to anyone wishing to improve their fitness.

I am a Peri Menopausal lady who has been training with Jo for the past 6 months. The training has been set up to future proof my body as I go through the Menopause and into my older age. Jo has a real understanding of what a female body needs and has worked on strength, balance and core as well as integrating mental stimulation and memory exercises with the ethos of use it or lose it. Jo has a fun outgoing personality and a wealth of knowledge from her extensive qualifications as well as her own insights from experiences on her personal journey as a lady of a certain age. Her enthusiasm is infectious, and she makes you feel anything is possible but more importantly that you are not alone as you enter this stage of your life.

After living a sedentary lifestyle for decades, using ME, Fibromyalgia, bulging discs in my lumbar spine, Spondylitis, bursitis and a host of symptoms associated with Menopause as an excuse to be still, something had to change. Jo’s incredible knowledge, insight, enthusiasm and kindness has given me the confidence and motivation to exercise for the first time ever. Jo obviously puts a lot of time and effort into tailoring a regime which targets my specific needs. In only a few short weeks I am already noticing a huge difference. It’s early days but already my balance is improving and I have improved ease of movement and stamina with just small changes to lifestyle suggested by Jo. I thought exercise would be too hard and boring but Jo keeps it varied and challenging enough to motivate me whilst keeping within my capabilities and, surprisingly, without exacerbating my pain. Jo has such an encouraging and positive attitude I can already feel my confidence growing and my body shape changing for the better. Jo has also helped my understanding of the impact of the Menopause on my body, equipped me with information I can use to approach my GP seeking the right support. I didn’t think I could do this but Jo has helped me realise I can.

I've been training with Jo since our kids started P1 together. Not only has she taught me how to workout, how to strengthen my body and now boxing, she has also taught me how to love myself, appreciate my abilities and recognise that I am limitless. She is a strong minded, hard working, beautiful human that wants to empower other women to feel their very best. Whatever you're wanting to change or improve on, Jo will encourage, support and guide you there with all her knowledge and experience! I couldn't ask for a better PT and friend x

I have had the opportunity to train with Jo on Female Fans In Training. My fitness levels were very low at the start and through Jo's genuine encouragement, support and perseverance in building my confidence in different ways has made me work hard to increase my fitness - I'm getting there and still need to work hard/er. Jo is motivational when you feel you have none, genuinely supportive when you need it (and eve when you think you don't) but most of all she cares about you, your health and wellbeing, she listens to what you want to achieve and works with you to get you there. She works you hard but you feel all the better for it and knowing she is with you 100% of the way.
